The Municipality of North Middlesex is dotted with a mix of municipally owned, privately owned and closed cemeteries. Presently North Middlesex is operating four municipal cemeteries the first being the Parkhill Cemetery which is located in Ward 1on the northern edge of Parkhill and the second is the West Williams Cemetery in Ward 5 adjacent to the hamlet of Sylvan. We also have two cemeteries located in Ward 3, they are the Nursery Cemetery and Mount Pleasant Cemetery. These cemeteries are overseen by the North Middlesex Cemetery Board that makes recommendations to Council on the various aspects of their operations.

The Municipality of North Middlesex will submit a By-law to the Registrar under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act 2002 following the 4 week posting period required. Any interested parties may contact the Municipal Office at 519-294-6244 during regular business hours at 229 Parkhill Main Street, Parkhill, Ontario for information, or to request a copy of the By-law (posted below)

There are several active private cemeteries operating within North Middlesex and each has its own cemetery board that control their operations.
